Incoloy 800 Plates (UNS N08800) is also used for process piping, heat exchangers, heating-element sheathing, carburizing equipment, and nuclear steam-generator tubing. Alloy 800 Sheets hardens due to cold working only. It has improved creep and stress-rupture characteristics in the 1100 Degree F (593 Degree C) to 1800 Degree F (982 Degree C) temperature range. Alloy 800 Plates are resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Nickel 800 Sheets are also used for chemical and petrochemical processing.
